Chairman - Peter Goldfinch
Hi, I am Peter Goldfinch and was elected chairman at the 2020 AGM of the club. Having been a member of Trent Park for a long time, holding previous committee offices, chairman, membership secretary, social secretary and organising the Triffic Trial for three years.
Now retired and have returned with energy and enthusiasm for the club, looking forward to being part of a happy successful running club going forward.
Secretary - Robert Pick
I began running in my early 40’s to do the London marathon. Twenty years later I may be a lot slower but the enthusiasm remains. What I enjoy is competing against other running clubs in the road running and cross country leagues which take place throughout the year. These are free to all Club members. My aim is to remain competitive in my age group and fill the space available in my trophy cabinet.
Treasurer - Jason Maloney
Jason looks after the finances of the club and has done since April 2016. Jason achieved his personal ambition of running a sub 3-hour marathon at Brighton in 2017 and trains with the sub20 group at the club
Membership Secretary - Christine Hawker
I joined the club in 2012 after getting myself from walking to eventually running a marathon on my own, but running with the club has been so much more fun. I enjoy taking part in league races and recently in a couple of multi-discipline events.
Team Captain - Adam Bowman
Adam joined Trent Park when the junior section was formed, aged 8, in 2000. He worked his way through the younger ranks and joined the Men’s team 8 years ago. He has a personal favourite of Cross Country and 5Km road races.
He says his biggest achievements with the club are winning the Chingford Cross Country League and the road racing Midweek League.
Communications Officer - TBC
Coaching Coordinator - Paul Ward
I joined Trent Park in 2009 after running the Triffic Trail with my wife Anne. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the marshal’s (Club members) and the beauty of Trent Park. Both factors play a large part in our continued enjoyment of running. As a successful runner when young I felt that I could offer more to the club by volunteering to lead runs and training sessions. Now, as coaching
Junior Representative - Phil Ley
Triathlon Representative - Anthony Plewes
Anthony has been a member of Trent Park RC since 2010 and has been taking part in triathlons since 2014. Now a keen multisport participant, Anthony wants to encourage as many people as possible to take part in one of the UK’s fastest growing sports.
At Trent Park, Anthony works with a triathlon subcommittee which includes Pete Hughes to cover all the multisport activities the club supports, such as swimming.
